I have 2 of these....I had 2 120g tanks running with 1 each on them,they do a great job,I have since upgraded to a DIY plywood 360g tank and now use both skimmers on it fed directly from the overflow,they are doing a great job still...I would recommend it for a reef tank of 125g or smaller if the stock level is high...for a fish only system,I think it would do a great job up to a 250g tank,again,depending on the stock level....they are easy to tune in and are completely silent running,you will be happy with this skimmer
